You can’t extinguish a bad habit once it’s put into place and you can only change what’s already set within your habits.

Makes us stop to think how important it is that we’re on the right track when establishing our habits, especially in the areas of our faith.

We know how to be a follower.

The follow button is the boldest feature on any social media platform. We’re highly experienced on how to follow along with people’s picture-perfect lives or follow with bated breath as breaking stories unfold in the news.

But to be a leader—that’s where the instructions from the user manual get a bit muddy. 

Being a sojourner here on earth should not stop me from staying on a mission to spread the message of Jesus and His atoning work on the cross. Knowing we are temporarily stationed here on earth to share the gospel compels us to more urgently spread the good news to those who go without hope.

Objective morality matters because it is the lens through which we view our own actions and decisions. Either our decisions and actions are governed by God’s definite standards or they fall in alignment with a reckless and crazed culture.

The Gospel of Christ is uncompromising in its message, yet many of us feel the need to water it down so as not to be “offensive” to, or “ignorant” of, others. We are concerned that if nonbelievers hear the whole Gospel (including hell or our total depravity) it might “turn them off” to God.
